Support
value
I use my released mods daily, if I find an issue with them or add features for myself I will release updates. If there are significant bugs or simple feature requests I will do my best to release fixes. Some of my mods rely on fetching data from 3rd party websites, due to the unreliable results, my mods will require users to troubleshoot for themselves if they find the addon is not working for them specifically. I am offering my personal mods that work ok for me for you to use, I am sorry I do not have time to troubleshoot many user specific issues. Thank you for your understanding.

Features
-
• Allows your users to enter multiple servers and characters
  • Links to either US or EU WoW Armorys.
  • Templated so you can direct links somewhere other than the Armory if you wish.
  • Manually place menu in postbit with $wowchar_menu
  • Optionally automatically add to postbit*
  • Shows formatted links on user profile profile.
  • Unified profilefield compatible with gWoWEvents and gWoWRoster
*Automatic addition of menu may not work with all templates.

    • Default Value: Leave Blank
    • Max length of allowed user input: 1000
    • Field Length: 50
    • Text Area Height: 6
    • Field Editable by User: Yes

Does anyone know if there is a way to see a master list of all the characters? Is there another mod out there that uses this info where you could create that master list? i.e. like a roster?

Sorry about that, I must have copied and pasted the format from one of my other mod instructions.

Not quite sure what you want, but the Armory has your guilds full roster. There are rosters available, but they require WoW addons to populate the data, wowroster.net. I am very slowly working on one that is based solely on the armory data.

Getting the same problem as Kimimaru. I've installed the mod and it works fine in a users profile but doesn't show up on posts with the auto insert turned on.

I don't have enough knowledge about vBulletin to know how to manually add the variable, could you supply me more information on that or maybe there's an explanation why the auto insert method doesn't work?

I'm using a default vBulletin 3.6.7 with only this mod and gItemstat and gTeamspeak installed as other mods.

I am not sure why it doesn't show up for some, but since it does exact pattern matching in your templates in order to be placed right it can easily not work right.

To insert it manually, disable auto insert in the gWoWChar settings and then edit your postbit or postbit_legacy template (whichever you are using) and place $wowchar_menu where you want the menu to show up, like near your avatar code or post count.

Hmm, I am not quite sure what would cause that unless the menu code is possibly inserted twice into the template. Or maybe autoinsert is enabled and you also manually inserted the code.
