TfSEO 2.1

TfSEO is a powerful and free url rewrite for the vBulletin system: it rewrite forum, thread and post urls.
For me it's very hard to explain well all the feature of this plugin, soo the best way is test it.

How much does it weight on the server?

I have tested on my home server:
TfSEO enabled, heavy:
Code:
[root@hserver ~]# ab -n 100 http://hserver/tfseo_1/main-forum-f2/dsadas-t4
This is ApacheBench, Version 2.0.40-dev <$Revision: 1.146 $> apache-2.0

These results are probably not that reliable.

Like you can see product takes about +10ms per request.

Other then VBSEO, is this a better SEO option for VB, or are there any others for vbulletin?
or is this hack the only one?

What do you guys think that are using this hack?

Thanks

vBSEO is overpriced snake oil. You can use this and several other VB mods to far exceed the real things vBSEO does — and not pay a dime!

Peace,
Gene

If you enable the 301 redirect function, the old url will be "updated" (redirected) to the new one.

There is zoints seo and vrewrite. They are both free, i raccomand you to don't buy vbseo, it is expensive and heavy.

Because it must take from the database the info for the "modificated category name".
This usually happens editing exesting query, in a few cases with dedicated query.

Im confused. What features does the light option give the forums. What features does the medium option give the forums and what features does the heavy version give the forums?

The difference is in the used variable to build the url.
Light > forumid and threadid
Medium > forumid threadid and threadtititle
Heavy > forumid forumkeywords threadid and threadtitle
