Detailed features

Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups
• Full configuration of the chatbox display:

Would you mind explaining how because the way I originally got it working (see the link in my other thread) doesn't seem to work anymore.

I can no longer use this modification and am going to have to abandon it for a different one which sucks because after you replied to my post with the two questions (bypassing my real question as to how to get this to work with vbAdvanced), you answered only the one that directed me to where I can pay for the software (which I did).

I understand you're not vbAdvanced support but you did mention you "did it another way in my addon". I just need some direction here. I'm not asking you to install it for me. Just explain how you got it to work with vbAdvanced.

Updated everything and all is working fine (for the most part)

Im having a senior moment and for the life of me can't get the background to change colour etc
i've read through the thread and for the life of me cant locate the .css etc (its been a rough night)
if anyone can unstick me it be appreciated

I paid for the licenses, two of them and two installs two. But it seems my questions are out the scope of the installs as I have some problems with the display also.

Can anyone else here help? I cannot use the other channel even though I did it right by creating the 3 images.

In the text input field, I have a box over it that is white with an X and when I inspect with Firebug, it says that box is this:

The reason I DID pay for licenses was to get the support I need to be able to have the chat for not only the staff in another channel, as we use the chat for chat a lot, and I would like to open it up for my other members, with the ability to keep the staff chats private.

So i'll have another bash later today, it pays to have a good host and yes I am on a shared sever too.

I didn't understand everything you said, I know you're greek, try using google translate, it might give clearer results

Edit the plugin that relates to user edit options, check for an include, there must be an include that contains includes/mgc_cb_evo/class_display.php instead of mgc_cb_evo/class_display.php, change it.

What I meant is that the post you pointed out show how to do it using the show on other page feature from the chatbox. I haven't changed anything so this would be supposed to work. Thus I never tested so I can't say you that I'm 100% sure.

When I mentioned I did it another way in my addon, I am not speaking of the chatbox but of the CMS integration product (see my website for details).

The addon integrates the chatbox to the CMS through a vBAdvanced module which calls php code that I wrote to set up either the normal chatbox or the chatbox in sidebar instead of doing it by using show on every page in a var feature.

You mean u have a white background instead of a dark one like you have on your style ?

If you have the PM in tabs feature activated then you won't be able to change, this is a bug that has already been reported to me. I'll provide a fix when I come to one.

I provide you the support, it's not immediate as I just not have only one user/customer to deal with you know.
And Furthermore I live in France, so perhaps not in the same timeline as yours. I am not there 24H/24H 7 days a week, and I happen to sleep at night

I did answer to you though, it seems to come from another mod of yours that overwrite the content of the headinclude template hook instead of appending to it.
Try to deactivate the mod I pointed you too and see if disabling it fixes it.

Clearly Hosts that are not eager to help are mostly not good hosts.
