jaderollie, the first step in the installation process is to use your FTP client (whether it's web-based or software) to upload your files. How did you do step 1?
Quote:
Installation:
1. Upload all files from the directory "root" (Keep the structure of folders)
2. The directory of videothumbnails and includes/videoserviceapi needs 777 permissions
3. Import the product-videodirectory.xml from the admin-controllpanel
4. After importing the product DON'T close the window, follow the installiton instructions!
You're still okay jaderollie. All you have to do is install an FTP program.
I would suggest FileZilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) and then enter your FTP information (your hosting company usually sends this to you in a 'welcome' email or communication. Then, you can connect to your server and then CHMOD the files.
'videothumbnails' and the YouTube and other directories in there and then the instructions say to also do the includes/videoserviceapi directory as well.
im fluffed, ill get someone else to do it lololol
im well pewter thick, thanks anyway, and im sure your help will allow others to do it
