. . . . . . . . Brought to you by scriptasy.com Live Demo: Live Topic 1.07b Demo (you must be logged in, and the topic must be "live")Description: This product is different from anything you have seen before, it raises the bar for forums. It will make your forums much more interactive, and also reduce server load.Technical Details: If a thread has been posted in X seconds then its now Live, if other users are viewing the Live topic and are on the last page they will experience a clean ajax experience while talking to other members. Once the thread is older than X seconds its no longer Live and it will now act like a normal thread. Also if a user edits one of their posts that's inside of the thread, it will be updated too so there is no longer a reason to ever have to refresh.Found a bug? Want to request a feature? Live Topic - Project ManagerInstallation: This is take less than 3 minutes to install, takes longer to notice its amazing feature. (you need multiple people to be active in the same topic)Upgrade: [1.01b to 1.XXb] Uninstall the product, then reinstall it. Does anyone else have issues with this not working? I have uploaded everything to the correct place, I have left the settings as default. My Browsers aren't automatically showing posts. I am using 2 accounts on 2 browsers.
Main account = google chrome Test account = internet explorer 7 it won't auto update. How many people have to be watching the thread? |

I'm starting to think it's something on the computer level.
I disabled all mods but live topic, made sure I had the latest macromedia player and such, and then tested again in both FF and IE7, neither work still. I bought this computer from newegg, and it came with the OS installed. At first I thought I was the main admin, but it seems there's some hidden original admin account or something. I have full admin privileges, but could this possibly be the problem? |

I don't understand what the macromedia player has to do with this mod.
If you think it's your computer, try this on another computer. Or, if you installed this on a test site, ask your mods to test it out. |

I only have WoG Quote Selected Text, Cyb - Chatbox & iBProArcade in addition to this installed on my forum, and none of them are known conflicts.

Anyways, I just went and tested on my other computer and it works fine, so it's definitely a computer thing, cause the browser was FF with the same addons as this comp. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was what I mentioned earlier. I realize this isn't a computer technical help section, but I'm pretty sure this "hidden god admin" or whatever is what's ruining it for me, I think someone mentioned that earlier. Any way to fix it other than reformatting? |

Just upgraded from 0.90 to 1.07b, no problems. Great mod, got my vote for MOTM.

Hi, my postbit legacy has a lot of things displaying. Live topics being short, is there a conditional I could use to disable all the post elements while in live topic mode, so it only displays username? Otherwise I end up with a short reply with lots of empty spaces.
Thanks |
