TomBot v1.1 vB AI User Bot

Hi after reading the forums i have seen many people after a hack like this so here it is.

This has been installed and testing on a busy live server and it worked fine thats why im posting it in here right away.

I can not hack that much if theres a prob but i try my best to, i also add this is my first time so i have tryed my very best to make the install file easy to follow.

all the files you need are in the zip file just unzip it to your pc keeping the lay out how it is in the zip file and then following the install text file.

What does this hack do?

Basicy it add's a chat bot to a forum on your board that will reply to users posts.

if you wish the bot not to reply to a post inside of the forum its set up to reply in just add ### anywhere in your post and it will stop the bot from replying.

You may give the bot its own profile on the board eg av and sign to make it fit in abit better.

The bot will also learn things has it gets used more but if it gets to a point where it trys taking over the wrold please dont sue me.

Our Bot doesn't seem to be learning much

Are there any sure ways to test the bots learning ability. We have been trying to teach it that one of our members has four dogs for about a week now.

Although it's funny, it's getting annoying now

how much strain does this add on to the forums?

Nebby -- Well, that depends on how much your members chat with it, and how often you set it to reply.

BrAinZ -- My bot has gotten slightly more intelligent since I installed it, but not by much. I think you just have to have nice, long talks with it, and it'll pick things up.

Anyone -- I installed the "Teach the bot a Question" hack, but it doesn't work. I typed in the questions, generated the .aiml file, and ran botloader after hacking it, it successfully loaded custom.aiml, but the bot doesn't respond any differently to the questions I tought it than it did before.... why?

personaly i feel the Teach the bot hack worked alot better when its maker had it adding things right to the database and not the way it works not as it dont work that good that way where as the other way he did it worked great.

Anyway, Just thought I'd share a few things.

In startup.xml, you can customize the bot's owner, boyfriend, gender, website, etc.

In tomstalkerbot.php, there's two variables to note:

$ttb_weighting and
$ttb_forumid

both of which are explained in the file
