Can anybody say how much earns Jelsoft every year from vB? Should they not make 3.0 for free - isn't it a great idea? (Although maybe it's not the right place for these words)

I don't see why they would change, licences are sold alot daily so it would just be a waste for those people.

Not another "why don't they make vBulletin free" post; honestly, posts like this are well old by now

If you want to spend 2-3 years developing a bulletin board and wish to make it free, go ahead and be my guest, chances are, it won't be of the same quality as vBulletin's coders are more professional coders that do coding for a living; not freelancing.

And it would be crazy to see a paid board go free. Thats just silly, it usually works the other way around.
