PHP Nuke is a great piece of software
vB is a great piece of software

Has anyone out there begun to think on how to integrate the two into one package?

Outstanding work Brad! I just discovered PHP-Nuke which is now being implemented on my site. I was debating even going with Nuke because of having my community register twice to the site (vBulletin and Nuke). I wish you luck with this. Your hard work is appreciated for those of us not savvy enough to do things for ourselves.

I actually have a quick question, If I implemented PHPNuke into my site now, or at least get it ready for rollout....will I have to start over when you are done with the intergration?

vbPortal only uses parts of Nuke to make it compatible with the addons. So the answer is yes you would have to start over.

Hmmm...

Ok. I've just started using Nuke on my site and haven't brought over my community to the new site layout just yet. Can I use the theme system that I created for Nuke once you finish vPortal?

Any time estimate on its release? Your work on this is very appreciated.

vbPortal 3 use's vBulletin styles which are much easier to use. So the answer is no, but!!! You can easily carry the theme over since I have put the "theme" box's into vB templates.

??? vbPortal uses vBulletin, I think there is a phpbb import script into vBulletin. Do a search on this board if that's what you mean. But if you really meant that you want to import vb data into phpbb, the answer is no, and why would you? If your looking for a Nuke answer I'm am re-working my Nuke2vB hack for PHP-Nuke to work with vBulletin 2.X You can follow it's progress here
