I just wanted to say, terrific work on this style. I have noticed in fact that so many of your styles are quite excellent, and this reassures me not only on the quality of your own work, but in fact, the possibilities of the new Vb itself.
I remember that when the new Vb was introduced, I was a little weary of the look. Then, when people were just changing a few colors here and there and calling it a new style, I became more skeptical of just how successful the new layout would be. That is not a slam on the many talented people here -- I mean, just look at all the great stuff people were able to do with Vb 3 -- but more a reflection on how strange and offputting (imo) the new look for Vbulletin kinda was at first.
But, a few months into it now, it is WONDERFUL to see the Vbulletin community getting more comfortable with the new Vb and producing more creative and more polished styles. You are truly leading the way on this, and what you are able to do with the Vb 4 is pretty amazing. Having quickly sorted all the styles on Vb.org on the basis of ratings, I have to say, I was not surprised to find that you seem to consistently have the best rated styles on this site.
Also, thank you for your wonderful site, BOM (StyleOrigin.com). I have been looking through BOM, and it is a refreshing oasis of even better, excellent styles. I used to think the Vbulletin was well....kinda ugly....but now I think there many awesome things that can be done with the software.
Keep up the good work, Alice. Very well done!
All the best.
What a lovely thing to say, thank you sweetie, but I must stress that I am seeing some absolutely beautiful styles becoming available here on vb.org. I love that they are being made available free, we all pay so very much for our licenses, it is such a treasure that vb.org exists, and of course that so many very talented people come here and share their hard work with everyone, I would say that everyone who contributes here and the staff who give their free time so generously deserves a little bit of your kind comment.

Sorry honey but I will not make one off private styles, I would charge a minimum of ?800 and up to ?1,200 , 50% paid up-front and a NO-REFUND policy to stop time wasters for a private style, this tends to make people turn away you see. Even if anyone were mad enough to pay that fee, I still wouldn't do it, I hate the idea of making money from my hobbies, it would take away the fun of it for me. If you want to request membership to BOM you could then make a new style suggestion, if I take up your suggestion you could have your new style FREE, but so would all other BOM members. Please don't bother requesting membership if you just want to use and abuse my design skills, I wont let you join.
As an additional note, this style has been temporarily discontinued on my site as it needs a full over-haul, the last update from vbulletin broke this style in more places than I new. When the newly re-devoloped version is available I will release a version of it here.
As beautiful as your style is, I was wondering if it would be possible, and/or how much trouble it would be to have the old (4.x) style postbit/postbit legacy? I've had some users saying they miss it. They like the way the quote looks, but they say the "Blockiness" is a bit confusing. Other than that they love it! Any thoughts?

You can simply delete my code in the postbit templates, but you will need to do some css and stylevar work to make it look pretty, a lot of borders, shadows and background colours have been removed to make the boxed look work properly. This style comes as is sweetie, but you are very welcome to work on it yourself to better suit your members tastes.
Morning again Alice. Had a quick question, went to go edit the logo like I did on the Cataclysm theme but for some reason I can't edit the Gif in Photoshop CS5, looks like it's locked. How do I get around this?
If it's something you have to do as it says something about you personalizing it I only need "WarcraftInsider.com" on the bottom name plate, wish I could do it my self as I hate to keep bothering you.
All her themes are awesome but as they aren't even shipped with a blank logo and too complicated for normal people to properly replicate they are pretty much worthless. Its not like she doesn't take a big chunk to advertise her site at the bottom. Your a great graphic designer but your trying to act like you contribute some great work when for most people its unusable.
@wired420. Did you download the files? There is a logo_copy.gif right in the root next to the install instructions available for customization. Which I had no problem editing to add our guild's name to. And I am pretty much a normal person and am not a developer and have her themes rolling on 2 sites without much problem. Upload the graphics, import the xml files and you are done. Very usable...with some effort.
@RowenWindsong. What you can do in CS5 is to change the Image Mode to RBG color and you can then add your text layer to it. Then make sure to save it as a .gif

Thanks TriAxis I'll give that I try, still fairly new to Photoshop so I am still learning my way around the different modes and settings. :erm:
