What this is and does
LDM is a general-purpose tool for managing libraries of links and files, and handling uploads and downloads in a flexible way, while tracking and control user access. It has a range of integrated media players and a large library of 'plugin' extras.
Installation and Usage Explained in the on-line Wiki, with a brief explanation in the file instructions.txt in the release zip. The recent revision history is given in the first post of this thread.
Please use carefully and always backup your database before upgrading. Post reports of problems and suggestions for enhancements in this thread.
14.06.09 Version 2.3.0 is now the the officially-supported version. Works with 3.7 and vb 3.8. Please post comments in this thread
22.06.08 Version 2.2.9-post1 - This is the previous supported version. Works fine with all versions of vb 3.6 and vb 3.7. All standard features except profile integration and forum prefix selection work fine with vb 3.8.

Thanks but is there anyway to simply have it where we can use the modern template and all we need to do is replace the link for the image/title which is also a direct link, to go to here: http://www.pspcrazy.com/forums/local...tid=15&lpage=1 or the page that allows users to comment directly, as I'm going for a all out social type site with comments, and all integrated in one area.
Nothing's changed here, as far as I know. What's wrong?

I'll add these to the list for 2.2.9. Bear in mind that these 'top 10 lists' add to the cost of running LDM - extra database access, extra cpu, so they should be optional.
Yea of course they would be added items. Well you probably don't notice the top 10 being odd, but before it had it's own box, and was not in any way stretched to the full screen size, rather it was in it's own box. Did you do any changes to it? Thanks.

As for the linkbit thanks!
Yes, I made that change. It's a request from others and makes the design look more consistent with other parts of vbulletin. The full box will also contain other information before the final version of 2.2.9
Similar to that filmstrip plugin, but maybe to add a whole table with random images, and another one with the latest additions... same, to be able to use the resize function to make smaller images and maybe show 6 images in each table.
Andrew it all installed nicely thank you.
I tried a test upload document
but when I'd filleed out an upload form I couldn't see a Browse button to upload with.
Is it not poss to upload direct from the desktop?
It looks like I have to upload stuff to the site outside LDM
then LDM can link to the file
but while I can do that my users can't.
I want them to be able to upload pics and documents.

????
You have to enable uploading via the ldm/admin/settings pages and then give the relevant usergroups upload permission via the ldm/admin/permissions page
