The add-on has been updated to reflect Facebook new policy starting October 1st (read more here). Basically this is a maintenance update for user of this add-on from the past. The add-on now supports vBulletin 3.8.x only. In this new version, there are only the basic features: register and login (some simple sharing too). It keeps old settings so you don't need to re-configure.
How to update (this is important):
1. Disable the add-on in AdminCP
2. Upload files in the package (make sure you disable the add-on before uploading)
3. Import the xml in the package, choose Yes to rewrite.
4. Re-enable the add-on
5. Done
Just remember to disable the add-on before uploading files and you will be okie.

I have the link to connect to facebook showing up on my site's navbar in the forum but not in my vbadvanced front page. Is there a way to get that to show up on my front page as well?
One problem/question...
Why after i set my options in usercp and save ...after a little while they all go back to "sleeping" and i have to do it again?
UPDATE: once you set your options in usercp they reset and you have to do them over and over...any idea why or what to do? It's driving me carzy(er) and making my head hurt

Has No one else had this problem? if so did you get it fixed and how.
I apologize if these have already been answered but there are hundreds of posts I'd have to dig through to get answers (if there are any!)
Here I go.
1. I have a FB group. Is there a way to have anything posted in my forums to instantly post to the group and visa versa.
2. My vBulletin ID that I've been posting with for years is different than my FB ID. Any wya to link these up?
3. I receive this every so often: Fatal error: Wrong parameters for Exception([string $exception [, long $code ]]) in /home/njfly/public_html/vBulletin/fbb/fbplatform/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php on line 2978
That error happens when posting to the forum. Strange that the new threads post regardless... The issue with this is that you receive the error again when trying to access the links to the threads. Once you log off of vBulletin than back on, the issue appears to go away.
The most important thing is the link up my forum with my facebook group.
Other than that, I'm clicking INSTALL.... So far so good.
