Thanks so much for the reply. I was kind of half not expecting one.
I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance you know how I can do this?

Well looking at the error it looks like you're trying to view the awards.php page without first installing the plugin. That query that its complaining about is a perfectly valid query in mysql 5.5 so it isn't that mysql doesn't support the query.

What steps precisely did you take to install the plugin?

Is the product actually listed on your manage plugin page in admincp? Were there any errors/warnings when you uploaded the XML?

I think its a problem with the install script. Try replacing all instances of Type=MyISM with Engine=MyISM in the XML and re-install.

The system is still working, we can give awards and everything but the error is there. I believe it is due to the security patch 3 that has been released. Let me know if you are able to help. Thanks

Has nothing to do with the patch, your version of php was updated and that form of code is now deprecated.

Code:
function construct_depth_mark(. . .)
{
    <snip the code for the function>
}
Change that to the following:

Code:
if(!function_exists('construct_depth_mark'))
{
    function construct_depth_mark(. . .)
    {
        <snip the code for the function>
    }
}
That should fix the problem.

I was wondering if there was a way to give an award to a group of users. The Mod option only allows a single user at a time. Is there a way to add a list of users for an award, all with the same reason ?

The other question is whether another group, not just Mods, could manage the awards. Ideally on our board we have long tiem members, who may not be Mods, running challenges. It would be great if I could assign the management of an award to a single user who isn't a Mod.
