Requirements:

1. requires GD 2.0.1 or later (2.0.28 or later is recommended).
2. PHP ver 4.3.x or later (newer ver is better).

Introduction:

What does it do ?

VB Image Hosting is a similar feature to imageshak and photopoket and online free image hosting, but this is for your members. it will allow them to upload and host their images on your servers, you can still manage the permissions and set the number of files for each group.

Main Features:

• Image hosting
• Restrict # of file upload for each group
• Allow/disallow group from upload
• Restrict file uploaded based on file extention, dimensions and size
• Users can manage their uploaded files
• Users can set the view permission for each uploaded images
• Admin can mange all members images
• Admin can set the number of images/users per page.
• Image thump is set to 320 * 240 if the image dimension is bigger.
• Admin can mange images uploaded by the members
• Admin can set the default upload permission
• Thumbnail system admin can turn it on/off.
• Allow multiple uploads.
• Admin can set upload slots for each group
• Admin can recreate thumbnails from admin cp
• Fully using the phrase system.

5. added 3 adons (show last 5 imgaes in member info, show number of images in postbit and Quck upload / gallary insert in the thread / reply post).

4. Fixed gallery view in new thread/post ( thumbs were not showing )

6. added font size for text water marking.

1. fixed security issue with image deletion
2. fixed minor mysql problem

To update to the latest ver (1.4.2) just replace the files and import the product make sure you select overwrite when you import it.

under the editor there is only open and Quick upload

do you mean open !? it's the default one in the vbulletin ( open )

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in c:\easyphp1-8\www\forum\includes\vbimghost_include.php on line 53

I have this error only when thumbnails are activated and that one when i upload an image with thumbnails activated.

Tandy,
the first one is not a bug .. it's normal
some of the images you can't create thumbnail to it there is alot of reasons for that such as that the image size ( dimention ) is smaller than the thumbnail it self

as for the second one it depends does it always happen when you get upload a specified image or what ?

Both case happen with any image bigger than the size i put for thumbnails.
If i don't activate the thumbnails everything goes well.

On my other server i have the version 3.1 of your marvelous hack, and the only problem i had with the sames images was $imageDirectory and $thumbDirectory, i tried everything to give the path of imagehosting directory but finally i hard coded it in the software

can you give me access to the forum and i'll help you with your prbolem

one thing
if you are using windows hosting
set the path as follow
c:/path/to/vb
no trailing slash
and set the name of the directory

also GD should be installed with PHP

The watermark feature doesn't seem to be working, either text or image. Plus getting some odd text output at the top when i add an image:

Couldn't catch the rest, page refreshed too fast. However, the image is correctly added?!?!? Just no watermark.
