PHP Nuke is a great piece of software
vB is a great piece of software

Has anyone out there begun to think on how to integrate the two into one package?

I am currently having someone integrate the two of these (PHP Nuke and Vbulletin) into one system. Actually - I have an auction piece that they are integrating too. This will allow users to create only one account and have centralized management of all their information. The code is still a little bit buggy, but I will be happy to share the finished product with you guys in a few days.

The people that are working on it for me have had a few problems getting vBulletin to work with PHPNuke but I think that it has actually turned out quite well now that most of the problems are ironed out.

More to come...

Stephanie

The auction system that I'm using is called Premier Auction.

http://www.index2000.ro/ourscripts/auction.html

I would have used an open source auction - such as -
http://www.friedmanconsulting.com/auction/ or http://www.phpauction.org/ but they are still in development and I didn't want to wait... Impatience has a price...

The cool thing is that when I purchased the auction piece, I found the guys that are doing the development on the PHPNuke and Vbulletin bit.

Any info about this?
How's it going? When'll it be done?
While I'm very interested in this hack. I also see a lot of issues regarding how it should be done.
Can you explain how you're implementing this?

These folks are working out a hack to vbulletin using PHP Nuke - it looks pretty sweet, but it's not quite there yet...

I think that they need some help from developers if anyone is interested in helping out...
