I think maybe that should tell you something. Or do you really think you have 86 Guests browsing your forum 24 hours a day?

Nice mod, I have been using if for some time but it's not picking up all spiders as spiders.

I often have several crawlers from baidu.com ip 220.181.108.xxx and they seem to be called guests.

I'm still beset by spiders !

At the moment I have 6 members 1639 guests and 419 spiders on line. There is no way I have that many guests, they must be spiders. How can I identify them as spiders?

As you can just about see the number of guests for the last 24 hours is 377 so something is not right.

firstly you need to keep the spiders_xml updated so subscribe to that thread i pointed you to, secondly you will have to check as many as you can that are not already spiders for their useragent and their ident then submit them to that thread and the kind "mosh" will update his xml for you, you can also check them here http://www.botsvsbrowsers.com/ and then supply the useragent...etc

Why does it say I have -3 guests, 34 spiders on the home page, but in Who's Online it says I have 31 guests, 34 spiders? What the heck is going on?

Fixed it, I had an older version that was installed it was mucking up the counts in certain areas. I de-installed all spider mods, then reinstalled this one... works perfectly now. I did lose the stuff in Who's Online, is there a way to get it to display that count there too?

I'm guessing this doesn't work for vB4.x
I installed it to see, & It showed me how many spiders, but took away the names of the actual members that were online.? lol

There is a mod like this already for vB4.x by Boofo if I recall correctly.
