don't put your content of the web if you don't want people copying it.
Nope, the question isn't that because I need to show the content for who need but somebody use this content to make money when I give it for free.. for a Lottery site like mine for example, its free and some commercial site or local TV is possible to using my work to make money, but I need anyway to give this content to people who need, to who don't have money to paid commercial (and/or fraudolent in most cases) services

This won't derail anyone who wants your content though. Disable javascript, you've goten around it. Use lynx or wget to fetch the entire page and scrap the content. Use a web scraper. None of these things are effected in the least by javascript.
If you don't want your content to be stolen, dont put it online. All you do is annoy the crap out of your real users and chase them away.
This is a pretty DUMB STATEMENT considering that the average person who actually knows how to use the internet barely knows how to upload and post a picture on the internet much less BYPASS javascript. Thankfully not everyone is a genius like you
I have had quite a few people ask me how come they can't save pictures from my forum so the mod is obviously doing it's job. Yeah it's not gonna protect content from everyone but at least it's helps! Kinda like how your car has locks and perhaps a key coded ignition key, but that don't mean that I can't break into it and steal your car. But thankfully the average person won't know how to do that
Then you're detering the people who arn't actually going to do anything with your content. You're making it harder on your end user to use your site. Its your prefrence to do so. But to use this to "stop people from stealing content" is silly. Its so easy to get around, all you need is one egghead on your site to tell everyone else about how, and then you're screwed.

I know what your saying but I'm telling you, I have 1,681 members on my forum and NOT ONE member has made an issue out of the situation. Obviously if one person DID try to tell others how to bypass it then they would have to make a new thread or something which would then delete but it's not even like that. All of the people I have talked to just assume that it's something that cannot be bypassed, plain and simple. You gotta understand man not EVERYONE is as smart as the next person
can this be used on just one section (forum) on your site?
I would like 99% of my site to remain copy as you wish.. but there is one particular forum I would like to protect from copy and paste? (atleast from most that don't know how to disable Java)
Hmm I wonder what would happen if i just switched javascript off ? - web developer toolbar for firefox add on is the easiest way I know of to switch javascript off and on again at will
