Look on Arcade-Mainpage in the Tournament-Block, there is "x finished tournaments" - there you can see all finished tournaments and their winners. /arcade.php?&do=viewtourneyend Quote:

Better visualisation of the number of posts required before playing in the arcade would be helpful
Jus now we have the All-time Highscore,on the highscore page and in the game block, but could it be expanded on to show the length of time each All-time Highscore has stood for (on a separate page if possible?) |

here's more!
I might have suggested some of these before, if I did, ignore me and send me coffee!! > When you create a tournament - there is no conformation page - should be something that pops up saying "You have created a Pingu Tournament for 4 players with 2 tries each. Your tournament is now active and waiting for players. And then it takes you back to where it does now, the 'create a tournament' page, so you can create another tournament. > On that same page of tournament creation, there should be a link to: A - go back to the main aracade B - view all active tournaments in case you dont want to create any more tournaments > on the Create a tournament function - the ability to 'invite' your buddies of choice at the time of creation > Once a tournament is created, if you go view a tournament, and you want to invite your friend, because you know she likes that game but probably hasnt just seen it yet, you can click on an 'invite player' link, and then put in the username, and the Arcade System sends that user a PM saying they have been invited into the Pingu Slap Tournament, with a link included for joining. > On the main tournament page, you can view active tournaments and tournaments waiting for players - it would also be good to have a link to "Finished Tournaments", which would display the tournament name, the date it was finished, and who won it. > Giving your tournament a custom name. When creating a tournament, it would be cool to give it a custom name - for example right above the choice of what game the tournament is going to be about, there would be a name field, give us like 120 characters or maybe 240 - and we could name the tournament something like 'jilly's ultimate Pingu Slap Down Challenge' or "jilly's frosty christmas tetris ball" it would make getting an invitation more colorful - "You've been invited to jilly's frosty christmas tetris ball" |

Another Tournament Suggestion:
Have a tournament announcement at the top of the arcade, and also on the top of the tournament information page, starting who needs to play their game for the tournmanet to continue. For example, if Pingu Slap is currently waiting for one person to finish their game so the next round can be advanced too, the tournament announcement area would show: Pingu Slap Tournament - the following players need to complete their games to advance: memberA, memberB, and memberC Virus2 Tournament - the following players need to complete their games to advance: memberD, memberX Tetris Tournament - the following player needs to complete their game to advance: memberW possibly these values could be pulled form the same area that the 'reminder' system will use - i.e. when a member is in the 'reminder' cue, their name shows up - and once they play their game, they drop off.. unless they go to the next round, and then their name will pop up again, as the system waits for them to play their game This would also be helpful with the 'custom name' of the Tournament allowed, so if you have 3 Pingu Slap tournaments going on at the same time, it would be easier for players to remember which Pingu Slap tournament they are in.. |

My only recommendation is to put the templates into the AdminCP where they should be and have them use the styles. It is a great product aside from that.

how about a option where we can select 5 or so games and have them 'featured' on the homepage somewhere, this is good for those with lots of games,
or a flip side, is expand the random game option to have 5 random games featured all the time, even during the gameplay screen, this way users can jump from game to game |

Ok, my members are really using and enjoying the tournament mode - one thing they said (and maybe it's already said in the thread here - but i didnt see it), is that they would like more notification pm's of everythign that happens - for example, you get a pm once the tournament is full - they would like to get pm's for these events too:
* when an opponent has completed all their tries, so they know they need to do or finish theirs up too * when it's time for their try because an opponent dropped out, disqualified, etc. (already discussed, reminder system) * when they have moved up to the next level because their opponent lost, or was disqualified * when they've been eliminated from a tournament, because their score was beaten, or they were disqualified * when the torunament is over, telling them the name of the tournament and who won They also would like: * an option to drop themselves out of a tournament * an option to delete a tournament they started * A place on arcade home saying what tournaments are in progress, and who is ahead, for example: "jilly is the currrent leader in the Pingu Slap Tournament" with the words Pingu Slap Tournament a link to the tournament itself or the tournament section * a shoutbox or comment box in the tournament area, something where they or any onlookers can nicely goad or encourage each other, depending on the match * some way to join leagues or teams, and then when they choose to join a tournament, they join it as the 'blue' league, and if it's a 4 game player match, then the blue league gets two slots and the red league gets two slots, and they play blue again red, etc. I know that's a bit more complicated - just something to keep in mind.. |

When a user creates a tournament, is it possible for then to 'donate' or pay for the jackpot using the vstore vbux? For example I want to make a roulette tournament, with 100,000 vbux as the jackpot = I dont necessarily make them want to pay anything to join, or maybe 15 or 50 points, or something - and then whoever wins the tournament gets the vbux prize automatically?
