I happen to be the owner and administrator of an adult site, and obviously, a vB license owner. So yes, they do sell licenses to owners of adult sites. My site is not a porn site. It is an adult community much like thousands of others around the www. We discuss politics, religion, recipes, kids, spousal abuse, child abuse, dating, marriage, sex *gasp*, and much more.
Are there any nude pictures on my site. Yes there are. All neatly tucked away in a photo gallery where they can be seen by permission only. But because the f*** word is seen on my site... just as it can be heard on any given cable TV movie at any time of the day or night... I'm restricted from linking to my site in my signature. Ok, I can accept that.
What I do not accept, however, is my adult site being thrown into the same ring with porn sites, which btw, I do not like nor approve of.
PLEASE, get it straight. There IS a difference between an adult site and a porn site.

Indeed, hence the reason I titled the thread 'Adult/NSFW'.
The main point being: A user should always feel safe when clicking a link on this site.. safe in the knowledge that the resulting page that is opened will be Safe to open at Work.

Thanks for bringing a sanity check to the puritan rampage. God Forbid someone sees a breast! Now, if we are talking about kids shooting the heads of cops or some other insane violence, that's okay! But boobs need to be monitored. Insanity when nudity is considered worse than violence.
I've reported a user for this, and it still remains in the sig, so i figured i'd make a post about it
I'm not sure why or how it would remain. Mine was removed for me before I had a chance to remove it myself. I received an email the day after I signed up here telling me that my signature link to my site was "unacceptable" and to please remove it, or it would be removed for me. Apparently they couldn't wait, because I came right over here and it was already gone. :angry:
