Many hacks allow you to specify a points system by entering the table and column for the points data. Use TABLE: user COLUMN: credits when integrating vBCredits with such hacks (note: you may need to include your table prefix with some hacks)! If you are unsure about integration - ask me!
Why is this version not the gold version yet?
vBCredits 1.4rc1 went through a long bugtesting process at the official site, and rc2 is largely bug free in its entirety. However, *it is missing most of the admin help and post/thread deletion actions are temporarily removed while I figure out how to fix them.

okay, nathan lastly, run the updater, and see if the amounts remain. If so, I will need to take a look at your board for conflicts.
and yes, referrals are cron based, occur every midnight to check if requirements have been met
even if you make NO requirements, it still wont "count" until the cron file is run at midnight.
If the cron runs, will it add to their referral list even if the user hasn't been registered for the amount of days i set or the amount of posts i set?
the thing about vbulletin referrals, is they arent actually saved anywhere
when you go somewhere to see their referrals, they are generated right there.
so...if I wanted to have a referral bonus of any sort, I would have to make some large table scans for each and every user, each and every time I was adding credits. Since I add credits for a lot of things, it just wouldnt make sense.
So, I have to actually count and save them myself, but that goes great with the referral verification requirements to cut down on exploits :-p
Short answer: yes, vb will still show anyone who lists them as referred, but vbcredits wont count it until the requirements are met
not yet I intend to have some basic credit stuff with attachments in 1.4, and infuse it extensively with another of my hacks on my site which deals with attachments

keep in mind 1.4 IS actually installed on vbcredits.com, what I deem stable for testing anyway as I move onto the next part :-p even if its stuff you may not realize is happening...
