v3 Arcade is now a member of the vBadvanced family!
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47571 The support forums & data from v3Arcade.com have been merged into the vBadvanced.com site. ================================= v3 Arcade for vBulletin ================================= *** IMPORTANT *** Version 2.0.0 has introduced a number of changes to the various file names, phrases, templates, etcetera. If you are using any 3rd party hacks/add-ons then they may need to be updated. Feel free to check over at v3Arcade.com with any questions you might have before upgrading. "v3 Arcade" is the premiere arcade system written specifically for vBulletin. It's coded from scratch - not a port of an older version - and because it was coded specifically for vBulletin it uses the product system for code modifications & utilizes AJAX technology throughout. Here's a brief rundown of the features in this version of v3 Arcade.
Branding Free ================================= All v3 Arcade installations carry and require a small "v3 Arcade" logo in the footer, as well as the text "Powered by v3 Arcade" which links to http:www.v3arcade.com. For information on legally removing the branding, please visit www.v3arcade.com. ================================= www.v3arcade.com ================================= If you're looking for more games, add-ons, support, tutorials, or anything Arcade related - www.v3arcade.com is the place to go. ================================= Copyright ================================= All code & images distributed in this zip is Copyright ?2009 CinVin, with the following exceptions:

Hello KW802
You have a PM Oh and I have licence too. Can I test Beta version? |

Just upgraded from 1.0.7 - and whilst it looks like everything is ok, there is a problem with the scoring.
Ever game you play, it tells you that you got the highest score, even when the score table to the right clearly shows you didn't! (This table isn't updated - so the real high score stays intact) but it does say you beat 100% of all previous scores! vb3.8.4 Tried rebuilding scores, no dice ... |

If I send a challenge to someone if they try to accept it tells them that "Our records show that you've already played your part in this challenge before. Only one score can be submitted per challenge."
So whats going on? Thanks in advance! |

Haven't seen that one reported before. What version of v3A are you using (so I can try to duplicate it)? 1.1.1?

Yes I am using 1.1.1 with vb 3.8.4. Thanks for your help!
Ok I was able to duplicate...here is how I re-created. User one, challenges user two. Challenge goes through and is allowed completion. (game was chopper challenge) User two, challenges user one. User two is able to play their part, however, user one receives the message when attempting to accept challenge of: (game was again chopper challenge) "Our records show that you've already played your part in this challenge before. Only one score can be submitted per challenge." |

But v3Arcade is going along well. If you're thinking of switching from IPB, I'd say wait until 2.0.0 since Brian has just finished working on an updated converter. The new 2.0.0 converter takes into accounts the tournaments. So far a few volunteers have stepped forward to have their IPB sites switched over to the latest beta of v3A 2.0.0 using the updated converter and the response so have been positive. |
