ecDownloads 3.2 Legacy (vBDownloads) is available for vBulletin 3.0.x

What is ecDownloads?

It is a download database that integrates into vBulletin. It allows you to upload files, create folders, link to external files - and more. It is very flexible and has many options. Sorry, no screenshots. Maybe if someone is nice they will provide a link to the latest version of ecDownloads for everyone to view it.

Changes in 3.2

- Too many to list... its a whole new world

Known Bugs:

- Missing phrase in add file (on nav bar)
- No file protection, add it here if you want: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=174
- Missing phrases (ecdownloads_can_edit_all and ecdownloads_can_view_disabled) in admincp

Install

Make the file edits in ecDownloads.txt
Upload the contents of 'upload' to your forum directory
Run the downloadinstaller.php file in the admincp (install/rebuild styles and phrases)
Create a directory called 'downloads' (or whatever you put in your settings) and make it writeable and executable

- Upgraders should remove the CRON that they originally set up

Any fixes for having the ` symbol in a username?

Can't remember if I've mentioned this .. but my Stats page is buggered ..

Anyone elses look like mine?

Any idea's on how to fix it?

got it all installed but when i ran the sql queries it put my table prefix twice for some reason

like

alienxc_alienxc_file_downloads
alienxc_alienxc_file_files
alienxc_alienxc_file_main
alienxc_alienxc_file_stats
alienxc_alienxc_file_votes
the alienxc should only be there once

how do i fix it because it doesnt recognize the tables that way

Unless Ron1n has updated the install file, find in downinstall.php, look for all instances (about 18) of -
" . TABLE_PREFIX . "" . TABLE_PREFIX . "

and delete one " . TABLE_PREFIX . " for each instance.

Be careful not to delete the quotes (") at the beginning and end.

A typical new line should look like this when done:

PHP Code:

$DB_site->query("CREATE TABLE `" . TABLE_PREFIX . "file_cats` etc----- 


Instead of this:

PHP Code:

$DB_site->query("CREATE TABLE `" . TABLE_PREFIX . "" . TABLE_PREFIX . "file_cats` etc----- 


They're doubled up.

You mean ' symbols get stripped ?
Or causes database errors ?

They cause DB errors when it goes through the userlist.
