I would be pleased if, in an upcoming update, you could make an optional user option for placement of the chatbox, based on the 3 built-in choices currently provided, as well as an option for it to not be displayed at all.
With this proposed feature, users could, obviously, place it wherever they'd like, freeing up the admin of hearing anyone complain about it's placement.
CYP has good mods, but poor support. Seldom posts answers, or expects everyone to have coders knowlege, and is short with them.
I hope your listening/reading Cyb. I don't like to post the same questions as other users. I depend on you, seeing as this mod is "Supported" and wait until you answer the original question.
We've been waiting a long time on some of these issues/questions.
Maybe I should just start posting the same question as others have posted over and over, clogging the thread. Would that work?
I love your Mod ideas, but your support is lacking. At least read back a full month and answer.
Sorry to be blunt, but that is the way I see it.

Bug Report: When the Chatbox refreshes messages, the textbox gets enlarged by ~2 pixels when the grey text "Refreshing Messages..." appears; this makes everything move down and back up when that message appears/ disappears. This happens only in IE7 (Firefox 2 is fine). This is annoying for users since it appears that the page is moving. Can you please fix this bug or implement this: Feature Request: Provide an option to NOT show the "Refreshing Messages..." text.
Hi!
To have ChatBox enabled on desired page:
1. THIS_SCRIPT must be defined in php file (by default all important vBulletin files has this)
I am not strong in programming. Write, please, an example how to define a script in php a file. For example, forumdisplay.php
Thanks.

You don't need to define anything in the default vB files, because they've already got it defined. In the case of forumdisplay.php:
Code:
define('THIS_SCRIPT', 'forumdisplay');
So, if you wanted to only show it in forumdisplay.php, you would add "forumdisplay" to the appropriate editbox.

this is my third post on this very problem. consider the bug replicated in XP in firefox3. its annoying, and has made me take the box off every page, seeing as how the whole site jumped up and down. very disappointing.
strangely enough, firefox3 in linux, this problem does not occur...
