The add-on has been updated to reflect Facebook new policy starting October 1st (read more here). Basically this is a maintenance update for user of this add-on from the past. The add-on now supports vBulletin 3.8.x only. In this new version, there are only the basic features: register and login (some simple sharing too). It keeps old settings so you don't need to re-configure.
How to update (this is important):
1. Disable the add-on in AdminCP
2. Upload files in the package (make sure you disable the add-on before uploading)
3. Import the xml in the package, choose Yes to rewrite.
4. Re-enable the add-on
5. Done
Just remember to disable the add-on before uploading files and you will be okie.

I have tried everything I can think of and the templates still do not auto-populate. Is there a copy of the text that should be in the template boxes, or are the templates coded with account specific information?
Again, thanks for ANY suggestions, possible fixes, things to look for...
OK, over three days of tinkering (14 hours later) - I got this mod to work. Finally got the templates to auto populate with NO HELP FROM ANYONE - LOL...
Anyway, the mod seems to be working great so far...

Thanks for the good work.
Marked as installed!
LOL. There were some problems in connection between your server and Facebook (maybe). Feel free to ask if you run into any other (freaky) problems

I stopped trying any fixes after my last post, and suddenly yesterday my avatar showed up.
So it's working now, and I mention the above details for your troubleshooting pleasure.
Thanks for the support, Mr. Paint!

Oh well, just as I have said right above. The script always does the same thing. Only the environment changes and it can causes weird error (I myself don't understand your error message at all). Hell! Anyway, good luck that it works with you now. Thank God!

I have found that the save changes button ont he set facebook options in the profile screen actually turns the interface on/off - anyone else experience this?

It changes enabled options to disabled and vice versa?
the other problem I'm having is that when I go to edit the templates in the template bundle the code seems to keep adding templates over and over and now I have over a dozen duplicated templates.
where are these stored so that I can delete the duplicates and edit them manually.
see my screen dump.
thanks in advance.
ps: in addition Facebook says template bundles will be deprecated on December 10, 2009 and want people to switch to other technology. ar you aware of this? Do you have plan to modify the code?

I though that clicking on the disabled/enabled button toggled the option and that clicking "Save" made no difference in the settings. When I click save it seems to disconnect me from Facebook altogether and I have to click Save Changes to get that screen and all of its settings to display again.
