I ran this mod for a few days.

After a few tweaks from SirAdrian It worked flawlessly! and my members were thrilled because we had been missing this since we upgraded 3.5x

But... during an upgrade we lost it

Now everyone is complaining aqain - lol

Looking forward to a packaged hack also

So let me get this straight, your hack doesn't even mark the thread as "solved" - which was the whole point to this thread? :ermm:

Actually it does... what it does is categorize the thread in an OPEN or CLOSED state such as a ticket state. Very simple approach to a very useful feature I would say.

Did you read the official modification post?

That statement is contradictory

It either does or it doesn't mark it, and from the screenshot shown it doesn't. Never asked for anything to be 'categorized' - just marked as 'Solved' :cry:

I'll be adding a button (well the work is in the script) for the users to actually 'mark' it open/closed in a few days.

Actually it does both

The hack categorizes the thread as either open or closed then informs those viewing the thread that is has been resolved and that they can re-open it blabla ...

So in many ways this is better than the older [RESOLVED] thread hack.

Thank you SirAdrian. It is appreciated. If you could add an option to turn the categorizing on/off that would be great.
