I take it the news will be independant of the forums, I mean like in vBhome lite, you have a forum specific as the news forum and displays on the frontend, is this the same or different in cPublisher?

The script is completly independent, all it will use from HiveMail and VB is the number of emails, PMs you have (database check/pulling info)... and of course the users database is the same... No need to hack anything, it's all set in the installer process. The script is smart enough to see it all in the beginning.

Will the comment system be vB or cP? Or is it like you said "a simple switch" from one to the other...?

It's just the user commenting system that's a concern for me at this point.

As I said, is an independent script. It has nothing to to with VB.

Any ETA on when the domain cpublisher.com will be up?

Keep trying to hit it but it's not there I assume...
