i can't hack but one of my admins can but he's been busy so aint really installed or made anything, i can't hack for ++++ but stuff i do come up with tends to sit in the "help me finish" section here, i'd release anything that would help other users but i guess it does come down to whether or not you can offer support as i've seen hacks on here that really need support and the hackers don't so i'm only up for releasing hacks in the first place if you're willing to put in the work!

I might be interested in this filburt. I like your implementation of HelperBot @ WDF alot, and find the current 'similar threads' hack a bit too instrusive on the design (as-if). Could you please PM me a price quote.

I haven't got any hacks done by myself, but my co-webmaster has a very nice AvantGO/pda-implementation done based on printthread which I eventually will release. Takes time to properly document though

my hacks are usually ideas i get from this forum but i wanna see if i can do them myself, so theres no point in releasing them

also, i always end up picturing people around my own age, except boofo, i've known he was old school since i read it on here a while ago, but amy i would've guessed 17/18...like i said around my own age

Don't worry too much about it. Most of us here didn't have the first clue how to do a hack or even install a lot of them when we first started coming here. After playing around with other people's code and learning from it, then it all starts to make a little sense. You'll get the hang of it.

Take me for example. But trust me. Just get a good book, practice and practice by writing your OWN code and learning from your mistakes. then one day it will click and you'll think - hey im getting the hang of this

I am always planning custom hacks... i started coding php when i joined vb about a month ago... and i've come a short way to understanding php...

but since i run an rpg forum i do make extremely unique ideas... and im sure many ppl will come and steal my ideas just because thats how it is =|

but i guess you stay ahead of the game... for me coding is fun... if i can make some money in the meanwhile doing it then thats cool... but i think i sacrifice way too much time for my setup
