stupid Question- If I only wanted the ability to change the author of the articles for the CMS (my Impex Port left some authors blank), I only need to do that template edit, right?
darn it wouldn't work for me in the CMS the field is there, I enter my own username (I'm an admin, have all the rights for the CMS and stuff), but it doesn't stay when I save/apply
I plan on using this to easily change the order of sticky posts. We use a lot of them and want them in a certain order, so when we add a new sticky it's a pain, but with this mod it should be super easy. My question is that after I changed the date of a sticky post, in order to get it re-sorted properly I had to rebuild the thread information. Does this sound right? So it sounds like I should probably set-up a scheduled task to rebuild the thread information every night, or we will have to remember to rebuild it manually each time we use this mod to change a posts date, right??
