Little mod. This modification allows you to have round quotes.

0. PSD

You must edit PSD Files (only two files) with PhotoShop.
Replace the red color by color of your posts (class alt1)

I'm not willing to modify background colors for each member.



1. Upload

Upload images in the zip into "images/misc"



2. CSS

ACP >> Styles & Templates >> Styles Manager >> Choose a style >> All Style Options (Go) >> At the bottom : Additional CSS Definitions, in the second box :

I have a question, no matter how I change the code in template bbcode_quote, it doesn't show the changes, I have saved it in the style I am using as well as the default style...

I even tried empty cache / cookies whatsoever on two different browsers, still see no changes (I checked the source code and couldn't see the changes)..

Checked in the plug-in / product as well, dont see anything related....


So... Does anyone here happen to know how to fix this?

Hi, this works brilliantly in posts but doesn't have any effect on quotes in sigs. Obviously that looks silly. I can't find a template for the quote box in sigs, I figured it'd be the same.

I am certain I have modified the quote template in the right style... It doesn't show, then I modified the templates in ALL styles, it still doesn't work ....

Any ideas?

In case you happen to like the differently sized quote boxes (like I do), you can just change the last css item to this:

.quote_name, .quote_body {
    border-left: solid 1px #CCC;
    border-right: solid 1px #CCC;
    padding: 4px;
    min-width: 300px;
}

I just added min-width so that my longest username can be accommodated without falling under the quote image. Then again, this won't be so clean a solution if users resize their browser text, but whatever.

Hmm having problems

When someone clicks the little viewpost.gif to take them to the original quoted post it opens a new tab and opens viewpost.gif in a different tab then loads the original post in the other tab. any idea why this may be happening? here is the code below:
