disappointment.. ingratitude.. instead of a simple thanks. Unfortunatelly this is how the life works at all. Not just in forums. If you're young, get as power as you can to be able to continue your life without letting them touch (and hurt) you.

You really have to have a thick skin. If your feelings are easily hurt then running a forum isn't for you (unless you want everyone and anyone to simple agree with you). Members won't always agree with your decisions leading to debates/ sometimes fights with petty bickering and arguing. Brush it off, grow a pair of cahootertoots (don't ask me what that word means).
Like josh said, unless you want a forum which goes your way all the time I suggest running a mommys pregnant related forum. Actually, I take that back, that could possibly kill any motivation you might have. You could always take the advice that many people are giving you and just take a break while you gain back your sanity. Either that or subscribe to vbulletin boot camp for 6 months and come back to your forum that your members will ultimately fear. Anyway, don't listen to josh he's just trying to put the heeby jeebies into you. Running a forum and how it runs is how you want it to be. |

This thread is sure depressing. I've put so much time into my forum and now thinking what if members turn on me. I have one moderator, and she seems to know more about forums than I do. I'd listen to whatever she'd want to do, and would probably make whatever changes she thought were needed. I guess looking at it from their point, they've put so much time into a forum. I wonder what you did to upset them so? I sure won't be making any big changes to the forum unless I cleared it with the members first. Sometimes, I forget or don't think of certain things. In regards to the VB license, you should contact them and ask them what is going on. Tell them that you'll be starting another forum or selling the license you have, so they'll need to change if they don't plan on buying a license. Honestly, you really should not have let them copy all of the VB files over to their server without having them pay for the license. |

Nevermind mind about the vbulletin licensed. I sold it to a member in here. All went well. I'm waiting for the rest of the payment from him.
Edited: Got it now. Thanks you Vitor |

When members believe they have the power, you need to stay calm and keep on with your plans, that never fails!!

. The communication was just for elitism who are not encourage new register. I tried to keep both the old members and new members feel comfortable but there was probably something wrong in their head. They keep saying that they're more than enough for a forum so we need no new member although I'd doubt their loyalty with my forum. Cheer |
