Only members that allow their date of birth to be displayed will be listed, and age will be shown only for those who has choosen that. Members are shown in colors defined in usergroup settings. You can choose to exclude inactive members. Several users can be set as greeters (used randomly when posting). Thread will be created first time when someone loads forumhome after midnight.

is it possible to make the autogreeter to greet on other VB Profile Fields, too ?
cause my guys want a Profile field for their wifes birthdays with an automaic generated posting, too
would be very nice if anyone can gimme a hint how to do this...
One issue we are having on one of my sites is if the user is 18, 28, 38 etc...
it says something like Age 18) and the 8) gets transformed to type smiley.
I couldn't figure out how to get around this, so I set up a new account to post the b-day messages and put them into a new usergroup that is not allowed to use smilies.... hoping that will fix it.. but no one has a 8 year b-day this month now =P
Well, anyone have any better ideas or have run into this issue before?
I ran the instructions as provided, but no messages automatically parse for birthdays in the forum I indicated (or anywhere). They do show up on my vba CMPS index page (under Today's b-days), but no new thread is started for them by this mod.
Is it compatible with the vba CMPS mod? I mean - is that something that would cause it to not work?
