Advertisement in automatic popup once per session · **Released**: 04-14-2007

This script generates an automatic popup of your selected advertisement whenever a user goes to your forumhome once every browser session. I reccomend telling your users about it so they don't think its just some third party ad, and they actually click it.

Support will be in this thread ONLY for users who clicked install! No screenshots as I don't want to create an adsense account for this, but you get the idea.

I disagree completely. Google is very adamate about stuff like this.

Releasing a mod that can lure unsuspecting/new webmasters into getting kicked from the hands down most popular revenue service sets a very bad precedent. This mod should be deleted.

You people are crying because it has the word "Adsense" in it. Now spare that word and read the post again. Do you think that the adsense is the only agency for ads ? This script can also be used for displaying your own Advertisement and announcements. You can nicely display your events etc by using this script.

Not positive on how to do it with a popup, but i'm sure google does! I'll be sure to come out with an alternate version shortly.

Edit, nevermind, it's just like regular pages. Here we go.

Actually, just search for this in the template change you made:

var winpops=window.open(popurl,"","width=,height=,scrollbars")

Change to:

var winpops=window.open(popurl,"","width=500,height=300,scrollbars")

And it should be fine.
