You can't - They would simply alter the code to make it function...
However - These people should be aware that they could be sued over doing so...
For all coders wishing to release scripts involving new pages and functionality, invest some time in making a licence agreement and include it in your .zip file - You will stand better chance of winning any legal action if it is included with your code
Chris
ya need to know how to alter that code though while most the people just removing the code itself. are just downloading free hacks and changing a simple line. or altering a phraze
i suggest waiting till tonight and looking at both for yourself. i prefer v3arcade because it already has the abilty to have both games from both systems where ibproarcade dont as far as i know. but others might prefer ibproarcade . but untill both are launched its just one sides so far
Did you even bother to read the first post in the arcade thread? IBProArcade had the ability to play v3Arcade games in the last version and it was not removed or changed.
Well since you asked. I think some will do it just to spite John. That's all.
and then like chris said ther can be taken to court

nope i didnt bother reading it i looked for a demo of it and i dont like the way it looks so havent tried to look at what it can import. untill i can figure a way to make it look better with the templates it is not interesting enough to me..
I've got to do it all again now for 3.5.....sob....
I have already got the new version of ibPro running on my test install of vB 3.5.1, and it has all the filenames etc changed to ibproarcade as above *so* all things being equal, I should be able to put v3Arcade on as well when it comes out later.
I am so sure it isn't going to be that simple, it wasn't last time, but you never know.

That would be pretty nasty of them. John has also worked very hard on his hack.

Maybe read before you post something false next time?
Looks can be decieving. It's what's under the hood that counts. Changing the templates is easy if you know html. The skin files handle all of that.
And they will be asked to replace the copyright and if not, asked to remove the hack. For those that do not comply, we will take it further.
It isn't only Zero's copyright, but the original author's copyright, too. They will have 2 sources coming after them.
and how can you find out anyway. its not required to download hacks without it being clicked that it was installed. there is no way vbulletin staff will be able to check every forum out there for the arcade copyrights specially that you need to be registered to view the arcade,
