If you give it up cold turkey you will have horrible headaches from the withdrawl... I know I did the same thing. I use to drink soda and coffee all the time and then I just decided to stop and man... it hurt... Although now I am starting to drink coffee from time to time agian. Nothing like what I use to do though.

Gosh, I guess I must be really good then just having a couple of brews (cups of tea + milk), one coffee, (milk 2 sugars), and a couple of glasses of pop (usually ginger beer, iron bru, or cherryade) a day.
Either that or permanently dehydrated! |

Caffeine is by no means healthy but sugar and caffeine together is much worse. Drinking whole soda like regular Coke and Pepsi is very bad for you. More so if you drink it daily, or you're over 30. Soda contributes to many ailments including obesity, high blood pressure, joint and muscle pain, headaches, nervousness and dizziness.
Typical withdrawal symptoms associated with caffeine consumption are headache, fatigue and muscle pain. If you're addicted to coffee or soda, you can get relief. Begin by reducing the consumption by 5% each day for three weeks. Replace your drinking habits with water and sugar-free juice. Exercise and healthy eating will also help. Do nothing, and when you're 40, you'll be overweight with high-blood pressure. |
