A very simple display of all members who have visited the forum 'today' (i.e. since midnight). I looked at the existing hacks that apparently do this, and they either seemed over complicated or had a lot of problems, so I wrote my own simple version.
The main features of Version 2.xx are ;
1. It displays the list on Forum Home under the "Users online" display.
2. The list view is collapsable, so you just see the number.
3. Invisible users are only displayed to those allowed to see them (with a "*")
4. Users who should display as coloured or bold etc should be displayed correctly. (based on the display usergroup)
5. If you 'hover' over a username it will show the time they were last active.
6. The list is in member name order.
If you prefer, then there is an option to make this hack display a rolling 24 hours - un-comment the relevant line in the code.
Addons: ericgtr has created a CMPS module for this hack, you will find the files here. paul41598 has created a pop-up display instead of the collapsable display, you will find the files here.

Ok I have scanned threw page after page after page of posts and haven't seen anything to this nature. If someone asked it and I missed it, I'm sorry.
Ok so here is the deal. I have had this hack working nothing less than perfectly for some time now. One that I love.
Today we had a newbie register and somehow got their username in Arabic (or at least I think it's arabic). For some reason it isn't showing properly in this box. It is showing up in the middle of another user's name.
I guess it should show the arabic name then the other, 2zen2, but for whatever reason it's not. Below is a pic of what it looks like in action. For what it's worth, it's showing the same in both IE and Foxfire.
My issue is with the CMPS hack. When I add the block to my portal it gimps up the formatting. The only place I have it is in the bottom right corner block or otherwise it'll cause every block thereafter to be in a straight line down the rest of the page. Any ideas?
how can we have the visited members to have a vertical scrolling bar for those sites that have like 1000 users visit in a day ? 1000 users take alot of space in the page

Thanks.
Fixed. I didn't have "Use Module Shell Template" set to "no".
Is there a way to include the total number of guests that have visited today? I get way more guests then members so it would be great to see how many I get a day.

Ditto! I'd like to see that too. phpbb does it. And phpbb sucks! (IMO)
