Mate you're welcome to use mine and modify to suit your board. I think we all have done that when first starting up a board. Just click the forum rules in the side column.

It returned an JS error when you've already agreed the rules that said that Carf_buttonCounter was not found. To fix this, just edit in template cyb_frules:
Replace Code:
<body onload="Cafr_buttonCounter();"> Code:
<body<if condition="(!$cfrulesagreed AND $cfrshowaccform)"> onload="Cafr_buttonCounter();"</if>> |

I want to implement a forum rules force with every infraction or warning given. Can you please advise on what code I can use to do this? This would really help lessen the workload for my staff. Would you be willing to implement this function into your addon? |

Because it took me nearly 2 hours to parse through the old posts and figure out which ones were out of date and finally resolve this issue (why the creator doesn't just remove the code from the install himself is any body's guess, or spent 5 mins creating a simple outline like this to include in the install notes), I created a simple fix for this. This was done for a vBulletin 3.6.8 install and using Cyb Advanced Forum Rules 3.6 1. After install, click on "Languages & Phrases" in the left nav of AdminCP Click "Search in Phrases" In Search for Test enter "font" in Product Drop down: select "Cyb - Advanced Forum Rules" Click Find Search results will spit out the following: "cybfrules_rules Standard Phrase <font color="#66ff00">Forum Rules</font>" Click Edit button Click Copy Default Text button, remove font tags, so only "Forum Rules" is left, click save Alternatively you could just copy and paste "Forum Rules" (without the quotes) into the English (US) Translation text box. Click Save Done. |

Thanks, done. I didn't mind the green too much until I finally settled on a default forum skin for a new vb and only later found out the colors clashed.
