devo, I am not sure what the problem is other than your font colors need changing. Simply add some simple HTML font tags and use white and see how things look... |

Ok --- I made the change and moved the </td> to after your block. but --- part of the problem still remains. see screenshot - the title bar is proper but the data still vertically centers......
A hint for dealin with those of us who are newbies --- usually, instructions for something doesnt just get inserted in the middle of a line....... i thought the </td> part was a typo so I left it. If I was writing the instructions I would have said to replace that line and included it...... only cause newbies like me are dumb and trying to figure it out.. LOL Quote:

Joey, want a tip that will make the garages look MUCH nicer? Enable the IMG tag and then place a nice photo of the car in the text area.
examples: http://www.midwestmustangassociation...p?do=view&id=1 http://www.midwestmustangassociation...?do=view&id=23 http://www.midwestmustangassociation...?do=view&id=31 http://www.midwestmustangassociation...?do=view&id=39 The reason your text is centering like it is, is because the table is set to align the text "center" versus "top" , so all those thumbnails in the other cell are causing the text area content to be centered in that table. Hmmm... I have another idea.. (uh oh!) but I have to go to work now. I might have another "mod release" in the works for this. evo dude- all you need to do is correct the missing code, that's all. For some reason your paste operation did not include that string, to say "define it" is causing you think this is more complicated than it has to be. Simply saying ADD IT would have been better. Just edit your template so that string is part of the code. TTL. |

Magnus, we have to be careful now- we have the last </td> in there, and if they have installed my mod, then they will not find that string, they will find: Code:
<td class="alt2" width="60%">$data[text] <!-- performance stats block by SVTOA --> <br> |

THAT fixed it --- except I didnt put the </td> in there (after svt yelled at me LOL)- I moved it to below svt's block and I havnged the 60% to 50% cause it gives me 2 columns of pics instead of one. |

Im way open to ideas -- Id love to hear what your thinking.......... I kinda like that layout - but shouldn't it automatically place the first pic there? in your garage it doesnt look automatic

Joey, I haven't yelled at you, I have taken time to HELP you. Ask Muscle-Mustangs how much help I gave him last night. I stayed up until 1:30 AM helping him with the timeslip hack. I'm not trying to yell at anyone, I am trying to help you dude...
I think I need to give this thread a rest for awhile. If my mod causes more problems then it's worth, don't use it guys. |
