And thanks to everyone who made the last mod the winner MOTM so I decided to leave the old thread with forums running an old versions of vBulletin who don't updated to 4.1.4 yet.

I just hate it when some people come across with a holier than thou attitude, and offer no help, just because it works for some does not mean it works for others.

I've downloaded MODs and have them fail at the import stage, when others have installed them without any problems.

If that poster had bothered to look back through the whole of the thread he would see that there have been several problems using this MOD with 4.2.x

Which could all be down to it not being written for 4.2 at all

The reply he gave was curt if nothing else, and I am sure he/she is big enough to speak for themselves.

Note: only fonts that are installed on the users computer will display correctly. If they don't have that font on their computer another one will be substituted.

To add fonts to the list of ones available go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager. On the dropdown menu choose Toolbar Menu Options. Add your fonts to the list.

I am pretty sure you could define your own fonts in CSS (additional.css is fine)
Do something like this

@font-face
{
    font-family:custom_font_name; /* Can be anything you like, this is what you would name the font, like Arial or Tahoma */
    src:
        url('font_location/custom_font.ttf'), /* Can use .otf also */
        url('font_location/custom_font.eot'); /* IE9 */
}

A note on this is that it can slow down your website, though for one font its not major, barely anything if cached properly and its a solid server.


EDIT: Also want to mention that I am running this fine on 4.2.2 without having to do anything but install it.

Hi uninstalled and lost the complete text box in version 4.1.10 PL3

We now have no text box at all....

We have no way for people to post on the site.... I have tried to reinstalled and still have the problem... any suggestions?

This has caused some kind of harm to our forum. When we installed no editor at all displayed. So we deleted it and now still no editor is displayed

See screenshot. I looked and all of the code is still in the templates but for some reason nothing is showing up (or it's being covered up by a white space). I say it looks like it's being covered up because when the page first loads you see everything like it's supposed to, look but then it turns white (like it's being covered up).

Can anyone help please? How do I revert back to the standard editor?

This post describes exactly the same problem as we are encountering - We'd be sincerely grateful for any suggestions of possible cause(s) if anyone has any idea?
