Detailed features

Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups
• Full configuration of the chatbox display:
  Size, position on forum pages, editor layout (either top/bottom input or left/right textarea) and position, number of chats displayed, ...
• Full configuration of the chats display:

But it's still opening up in a new tab

Just re-tested it - FF3 opens new tab & IE7 opens FULL SIZE new window.

hi dev i don't know if this is a bug but now and then my chat box locks on refresh and it doesn't refresh unless u refresh the full forum

Hi guys, never had to do this before, but the Chatbox and admincp settings are coming up with another language, i know ive got to install "English", but where, and how.

I tried "Import Language" but when i do i get...

The file you attempted to import only contains phrases and none of the settings required. You will be unable to make a new language with this file.

Any Help will be greatly recieved

Yes, on a page where the chatbox exists it does. I need it to open that small box from a page where the chatbox is not displayed

There are issues with vB if you have zlib compression on your website. Do you have that active ?

No I don't have that enabled

Had you set it to overwrite language file as stated in the install instructions ?

Then you have to add, in the template of the page where you want to add your opening button, the bit of code (function open bla bla bla) between javascript declaration tag :

Have you applied all fixes stated in the thread near the bugs ?
Also try putting the load YUI files from local server to yes.

If after fixing them you are still having the issue then please send me by pm URL to your forum.

The errors / warnings in FF error console are present regardless of hooks used, and aren't present when the default style is used (which should also show the chatbox), so they aren't important.

Gah, I uninstalled (deleted files and images, uninstalled the product, reuploaded the files / images, installed the product, and finally re-added the language file) it again, but the problem persists - it doesn't seem to show. I've played around with the settings and permissions, but can't get a handle on what is causing the problem.
