I know its actually V.1.0 , but people here would not be able to comprehend that version so I put it in terms they can deal with at this time.

Dude 4.0.7 was back when you had to actually click something to ban a member, all I have to do is think or say it and they are banned.

Oh and by the way Geek is still around doing hacks in the future but in the future he is known as Geek v 4.5 as his brain was transplanted into a computer to farm for hacks.

I have been forbidden to reveal the depths of the future of vB

The version you are talking about is a mere blip on the scales of what is to come...

The reason I only run 4.0.7 is because I have to give the present day vB'ers some hope of actually achieving the version I run

It's like teasing them really...

Unfortunately after 85 years of development I cannot run any of these versions on these pre-reformation computers - The language and letters alter too significantly for a current day ASCII system to recognise, therefore the numbering and naming becomes obselete...

But in about 80 years time a server with the post-reformation requirements may run early versions of the new software

You could always convert it from ASCIII to ASCII using the built in tools in Windows operating system 2085.

But then I would have to bring back components and other bits of software from the future...

And several power converters

Too much hassle

The current bus speeds on the processors couldnt handle it nor could our present day memory .

Exactly - I may as well bring back several servers and terminals - The problem then is converting the forum layout and content to a non-reformation format for present day visitors :ermm:

Yeah but then you have the problem with people only have 4 mps tops. I mean in the future we have a transfer rate of 2.5 terabytes per second. I dont think the site would ever load for these " normal " people.

I had thought about that...

Multiple OC-48 connections connected to a pre-reformation bandwidth converter connected to a post-reformation bandwidth convert might provide enough power for the server to deliver high-end broadband level packet sizes

But this is highly theoretical

Remember - To power a server for a minute, even with the most efficient pre-to-post reformation power converters, it would take 3 trillion trillion KW of energy :ermm:

Yes and this isnt even factoring in the small tcp/ip receive windows that " normal " people have. Even if they seen the site it would look more like the matrix then what they are used to. They would need the decryption chip that Jelsoft releases in 2074 just to convert the header.

3.5 BETA HA!
