Allow Thumbnail View To All Groups

ALLOW THUMBNAIL VIEW TO ALL GROUPS Installation Script 1.3

This hack will enable you to provide thumbnail preview to all groups. It does not change download permissions. For example, you can allow your visitors to "window-shop".

This hack is great if you want to convert "registered members" into "Premium Members".

It will also add a short message to users who do not have download permissions.

You will need to modify:

• attachment.php
• includes/function_showthread.php

And, add 1 new phrase under Show Thread.

Hi there.... I don't follow check the new install file? Watcha mean? Doh.... I figured it out......

Ok, I reinstalled the mod and all looks great except I have a question. For my non registered/logged in visitors (who normally cannot d/l or view the attachments) they can see only a standard thumbnail image (not the actual thumbnail of the image).

I don't have thumbnails viewing on because my members prefer to see the actual graphic attachment.

Is there a way to allow for the pic of the actual graphic attachment versus the standard vanilla thumbnail image?

Just tried and installed the hack but got errors when going to view any thread on any forum:

Parse error: parse error in /var/www/virtual/site/htdocs/forum/includes/functions_showthread.php on line 247

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: construct_postbit() in /var/www/virtual/site/htdocs/forum/showthread.php on line 939

Any idea when the hack will be final for the 3.0.3 version ?

Remove the code that you pasted ... check and make sure there is no error.
Insert/Modify per instructions -- make sure your pasted code is similar to what is in the instructions.

VIEW ALL TEMPLATES/ choose MAIN CSS from the dropdown

Yeah i wanna update to 3.5 from 3.03 and have this currently installed but need to use it for 3.5 when i migrate over...
