hi guys,

a few days ago the "my-vB Portal Lite" was released.

The portal has the following features:

- Infinitely many portal pages possible
- Infinitely many portal boxes possible
- Four portal page types
- Last topic Box
- News Box
- Poll Box
- Calendar Box
- User Online Box

Its actually a german portal, but i have tried to translate it.

Installation went fine but I have a problem, it only shows one news instead of the number I choose. Any idea why? It even says "Lates 10 news:" but only shows 1...

How I can add a new forum for news?

I wants to add other type of news in a diferent page, how I can add this oprtion?.

hey ppl you dont nied update_rc3_rc4.zip to let this portal work with vb3rc4

Change this in the portal_templat.xml file
look for:
<style name="Default Style" vbversion="3.0.0 Release Candidate 3 " type="custom">

And change that to(for rc4 version):
<style name="Default Style" vbversion="3.0.0 Release Candidate 4 " type="custom">

or to
<style name="Default Style" vbversion="3.0.0" type="custom">
for the gold version.

Great hack

Thoughts:

Modify the general settings in portal settings to have settings for each page made with a list of all pages created. This would allow each page to have a different feed for polls, news, ect ...

List them like "Edit pages".

Project seems to be nearly dead !

Bad support, Bugs over Bugs, no Professionalty on work and no new Ideas.

Sorry Guys - there might be other ones ! :ermm:

That happens if someone don´t listen to his Users - and i am not the only one.

Hopping that somebody is waking up now !

I meen this "new" Version - it has got still bugs and was just (let?s speak german) "zusammengeflickschustert" (means something worked very fast and uncompleted)!
