I don't know what are Jelsoft's plans for their CMS, so I cannot say it will compete.
CP is a stand alone product that will be compatible also with HiveMail and VB, without any hacking involved.

I would say 5-6 months before first beta is done. So far the script engine files and installer is completed... I work on the admin CP right now...

I am wondering though, how is the information you add displayed? Categories? Articles In Categories? Can you elaborate on this?

1. News categories with articles + advertisement system integrated in the first post (like any large web site)
