Awsome hack you're making Chen

I was wondering if you could set it up so that member permissions can also go upwards, so that only mods and above for instance can download something. or only users of ** posts can download something. If you have these abilities available to sort out in the groups, then I apologise. I was also wondering if you could make it possible to be able to select multiple user groups.

wonderful idea, great hack, and sorry if I miss any previous posts, but can I upload file to my vB from different location? Files downloading don't have to be the vB site.

And btw, how is project going? Expect before of after christmas?

Yes there is an option to upload files to your forums.

And hopefully it's be out before Christmas, although I can't guarantee.

I know there is an option to upload file to my forums, but my question was Will I be able to use the files outside my domain (for example domain2) but still restricted for my members in domain 1 only.

Chen, I think that Nam wants to use the Attachments feature of vBulletin, but have the ability to post attachments which are located in a server different from the server the forum is in and have them show as if they are truly part of the forum server.

If that's what you meant with your post, then I apologise, but that's what I understood from Nam's post.

Basically the same way forum permission works.

Ive been working on a new system for the forum permission page, which really gets out of hand if you have lots of forums/lots of usergroups to change...
