Whatever it is, a hacks install count should be credited as half if the support option is not checked.
That would simply make people tick it, while having no intention of actually supporting it. I see many hacks like this already - support is ticked, support is actually none existant.
Also, people don't have the means to support older hacks, support is no longer ticked in any of my 3.0 hacks because I no longer run any copies of 3.0.
I think this problem stems from the coder's usergroup, go to this page: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/profile.p...editusergroups and make sure you're identified as a member of the licensed usergroup. That should stop the title from changing every time you edit your profile.
.
To be fair, we already know that number of hacks and number of installs (and probably date joined) are all part of it, we just don't know how many installs we need.
I think the requirements are a little too strict, actually. Last time I checked the author of IBPro Arcade had 600+ installs and was still a coder. Even with 6 hacks, I doubt I'll ever get to advanced coder.
er ye ok I can honestly say and I think alot of peeps would feel the same. If I knew what would make me a Master coder it would not change my activity or release / support pattern. I would like to know just to know.

You need atleast 10 hacks, because when I got my 10th hack submitted I think I got my Advanced Coder rank.
As I recall, when I changed to Master I had 27 hacks and had just passed 4,000 installs. Looking back, when I got Advanced, it was for my 10th hack, and I had a few hundred installs (over 500 I think).
I agree with whoever said that .org just needs to make/enforce the rules. Its silly to have this s'ecret method' imo. If you need more moderators to get the job done then get more moderators. Coders are the life blood of this site, you should be trying to bend over backwards to try and please them.
Maybe you already have this, I dunno since I'm not a coder, but make a forum that just coders and mods can see/use to talk about issues like this and any other problems. I'm sure coders themselves can help point out possible exploits of the system among themselves to help the moderators.
