ok, I found it --- im running vba so index really means forum.php to me
BUT........... when I did everything, I got this Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0: Invalid SQL: SELECT vbgarage_images.* FROM vbgarage_images ORDER BY vbgarage_images.imageid DESC LIMIT 5 mysql error: Unknown column 'vbgarage_images.imageid' in 'order clause' mysql error number: 1054 |

Joey, you said "forum home page" so your VBadvanced has nothing to do with this- in this case "index.php" refers to the index.php in your vb3 root directory, not your vbadvanced index.php. |

It sounds like you edited the wrong file, hence the database error. Revert or restore the file you edited and then apply the edits to /vbulletin/index.php (where "vbulletin" refers to your forums root directory- whatever that may be)

A couple Questions:
1. Is it possible to rename the vbgarage.php file to something else without a great deal of work? My forum isn't about cars... 2. How do I change the vBGarage phrase for the breadcrumb template? There doesn't seem to be a phrase for that somewhere. |

Magnus,
I'd like to add a simple image within another table above the "Latest Uploads" one on the Garage main page (and preferably above the rest of the pages). What would I edit? Thanks. |

Not true svtoa. in my case, BOTH are installed in the same directory (it was the only way I could get them to work at the time) the index.php in my root directory is to VBA and the vb3 index was renamed to Forum.php. The index doesnt have the same coding as listed here, only the forum.php does.
Regardless, I made all the changes as specified, and got the DB error. how do i fix it? Quote:

Some questions before i download and donate
- How easy can i change it from a 'garage' to a user gallery? I plan to do a website where young athlets could search for sponsors and so on With your hack the users can describe themselves and upload pictures - Did you use phrases? I would need to translate it to german - Did you use templates for everything or would i need to edit the files to translate, modify, ...? - when do you plan to release a new version? Not that i start to modify it and you release a new version kind regards, dominik |
