Article Forums v4.x for vBulletin v4.x

Demo | Version History

Turn a forum into an article forum. Sub-forums are turned into categories.

• Posts/Articles show in searches & in new posts
• Create as many sub-forums/ categories as you need
• Follows forum permissions
• Can still rate thread, etc.
• Different postbits for article and replies (comments)
• Choose what to display in postbit for article and comments
• Choose what to display on articles in vBulletin Options

* Not compatible with 3.7.x forums *

Installation:

1. Upload articles.php
2. Import product file
3. Create a forum in admincp
4. Go to vBulletin Options->Article forum Options

Remember to click Mark as Installed to receive updates and support

Possible Future Additions:

• Make article collapsible
• Allow multiple article forums

They will be included in every version

It's saying "Cannot Open Page: Too many redirects occured."

That only happens when I click on one of those forums. All the other non-article forums work properly.

When I click on the forum to view the threads within.

seems to work great so far - only request I seem to find at the moment - is being able to give certain people author permission (unless I'm missing it somewhere) and also it would be great to be able to assign a username with an author or writer of the tutorial... for instance - I post the tutorials that are sent to my site - but I'm not necessarily the actual author of the article...
