Hi all, just wondering if anyone that has linked VBulletin and Wordpress if they have a way of getting new blog posts in the word press slave to show up in the activity stream in the Vbulletin master?
I understand this plugin is primarily just to share users but would be handy if anyone can share there experiences of integrating the above two?
Some of the users had the similar issue when their firewall blocked the requests. Please verify it or additionally enable DEBUGGING Logging Level in vBSSO and see what the logs say.
Hello again,
- Is the debugging logging level different than the email-logs I've enabled?
- Wordpress and vbulletin installation is on the same domain and server. Could it still be a firewall issue?
Additional info:
Curl-version: libcurl/7.18.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8g zlib/1.2.3.3 libidn/1.8
PHP Version 5.2.6-2

Debug Logging Level is basically switched as described at http://vbsso.com/platforms/vbulletin/. Yes, that could be a firewall issue, it might block requests being done via curl.
Installed vbulletin vbSSO and wordpress vbSSO and when trying to connect to Wordpress through vb-admincp I get the error message:
"Unable to verify platform [http://www.xxxxx.se/wpsz/wp-content/...sso/vbsso.php] Please analyze log files located at `/home/html/www.xxxxx.se/public_html/vb/vbsso/logs/` to detect the cause of the issue."
The log file says "Communication: Platform returned http status code: 0"
and when I browse to the url above I get Internal Server Error.
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
Regards
Chris
Solved.
We had an entry in our hosts file that messed things up.
Hello, and thanks for making this product. We are having some issues with it though.
Only users that were already registered in the wordpress system can log into both. And whenever a user tries to log out, or log in with an account that is on vBulletin only, all I get is a white page that does nothing. Also, the widget for the vBSSO login box does nothing when a user that is only in the vbulletin system tries to log in. I get absolutely no error messages. Can we get some help with this?
