vJukebox - Song and Video Management System

vJukebox v 0.9.0 Alpha

What does this do?
This is a Jukebox system, you can add and listen to/play videos/songs, users can rate the media, comment it, and much more!
Updates:

0.9.0 - Total Rewrite, several new features, template overhall.
0.8.1 - Fixed several bugs that I overlooked at first distribution.

Known Bugs:

File Writing Error - Fix by Replicators, See this post.

To Install:
1. Import the product xml file in this folder.
2. Upload all files in the upload folder.
3. Create a folder named media in your forumroot (or another name, you can edit the name of the folder you want to upload media in, in the ACP settings. CHMOD 777
3. Enjoy.

I will not officially support this until we get into the beta phases.

is it possible to configure it that way that whe users upload a media, rather than being upladed to www.myforum.com/media can it be loaded to www.someothersite.com/media

I wound up creating a flash player for us to get around browser and platform incompatibilities (quicktime? windows media player? etc), since we're just throwing mp3's into it, though the flash player will wind up working with some external video as well.

That doesnt do the same is even MORE unstable and i dont think you're allowed to upload a mod that was on vbhackers.com to here without permissions

2. that mod doesnt do the same you have to LINK to files i dont think everyone will wanna give ftp access to do so and that would mean hot linking from other site wich can resolve in getting sued (if you dont pay attention) and stealing people's bandwith

so in my judgement using both vbjukebox and vbmusic......vbjukebox wins

then good luck in whateva your doing....i tried fighting these terms and privacy before....you wouldnt wanna have anyone hot linking your stuff and stealing your bandwidth right? but anyways i wont argue on it....

Look online theres a huge music portal that does everything you want for only 30$ if i find the link ill post it

Prevent hot liking is easy, just deal with .htaccess
I wouldn't worry much because I am about the move my server to an un-metered server.
