This plugin will make it possible for the user to switch between new and legacy postbits from showthread.php using the Display Modes menu.

This plugin requires the 'User Postbit Template Selection' plugin by WhSox21 to be installed. The plugin can be found here.

The plugin requires 2 template edits (both in the SHOWTHREAD template), 1 edit of WhSox21's plugin and 1 edit of the field created whilst installing WhSox21's plugin.

Thanks goes out to WhSox21 for letting me base this plugin from his.

is there a step by step exactly what to do to do this? I need very specific instructions to follow.

Nice. I do not say this about a lot of hacks, but I honestly believe that this plugin together with what it's an add-on for, should be a default feature

vBulletin 3.5 hacks work just fine on all 3.5 - 3.8 versions without a problem.
