Yes, add <b> </b> around the places that use them. heh
There may be a different way, but that is how I would do it.

I tryed your fix
UPDATE userfield SET field5='FFFFFF' WHERE field5=''
But that just rolls up a sql error fella

Well I didnt copy your install file. However these 2 mods are very alike. I have never seen that one before. Sorry

Have you changed the field number to the field number at your forums? (I.E, if the number is 6(sixth user profile field, run this query:

UPDATE userfield SET field6='FFFFFF' WHERE field6=''

Pardon me, but what is "running a query"? Because my usernames are black now too, and I would really love to fix this asap. *gets tons of PMs*
